It is NIPSA’s policy to promote and campaign on behalf of all victims of domestic violence, at work or at home. In our efforts to confront domestic violence we continue to work with employers to recognise that domestic violence is a workplace issue and to ensure a workplace policy is developed which will create a safe and supportive working environment which gives victims, who may have suffered in silence, the confidence to come forward. To this end we have produced a guide to assist our Branch representatives in negotiating workplace policies and help them to assist those suffering domestic violence.
