Launch of NIPSA Commissioned Research by Trademark

The NIPSA commissioned research report on obstacles to young adults engaging in union activities and structures, which was undertaken by Trademark, will be formally launched on 1st October 2010 in The Black Box, 18-22 Hill Street, Belfast from 12 noon to 2.00 p.m. A copy of the outline programme is enclosed.
The event will provide an opportunity for NIPSA activists and those members and non-members who took part in the research to hear from the researchers on their findings.
The event is open to members and non-members who would like to learn more about NIPSA and what it can offer young people to-day, especially at a time of unprecedented cuts in public spending which will have a major detrimental impact on all of us.
I would therefore ask branches to encourage young members and non-members to attend this event. Details should be sent to Karen Barrett on the form attached or e-mailed to karen.barrett@nipsa.org.uk no later than Wednesday 22nd September 2010.
