NIO Consultation Document: Local Partnership Working on Policing and Community Safety

I refer to my circular of 7 April in respect of the above matter.
I am attaching a copy of the NIPSA submission in response to the Consultation Document. The key points made include:-

- Objections to the failure to consult with NIPSA/trade unions;
- proceeding when everyone knows that RPA will not happen in 2011;
- proposals based on making staffing losses; and
- need to suspend consideration of proposals in view of RPA and recent transfer of Policing and Justice from the NIO to the NI Executive.
