Local Government Pension Scheme, Joint Trade Union Campaign: Protect Our Pensions
I am enclosing a supply of each of the four following leaflets:-
(i) Local Government Pension Scheme – Ten Key Facts
(ii) Local Government Pension Scheme – Myths Exposed
(iii) Local Government Pension Scheme – 2011 Budget
(iv) Local Government Pension Scheme – Why the LGPS Pension Tax must be stopped.
The leaflets were produced and agreed by the ten unions that have an interest in the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) and for the NILGOSC scheme in Northern Ireland. Whilst the leaflets were produced prior to the second Hutton Report on public service pensions and ahead of the 2011 UK budget, nevertheless their content remains valid.
