NJC Pay Update - 2009 NJC PAY
Following intensive talks between the Employers and Trade Union Sides at the end of May
of the National Joint Council (NJC) the Trade Union Side is awaiting what it hopes will be
an improved offer on 2009 NJC Pay.
The original offer of 0.3% was rejected previously by the Trade Union Side and as a result the
Employers Side threatened to take that offer off the table if it was accepted by the deadline
given. The Employers Side has now indicated that it would not now withdraw that offer.
The NIPSA Public Officers Group Executive Committee agreed to convene a special meeting
in the event of any further developments.
