What is NIPSA?
The Northern Ireland Public Service Alliance (NIPSA) is the largest trade union in Northern Ireland with over 44,000 members of whom over 65% are women.

NIPSA is your LOCAL public service union, covering only employers in Northern Ireland.  NIPSA represents staff in the Northern Ireland Civil Service, Health and Personal Social Services, Northern Ireland Housing Executive, Education and Library Boards, District Councils, Housing Associations and the Voluntary Sector.

If you work full-time, part-time, term-time, or are on a temporary contract you should join NIPSA - the benefits are the same.
